Short-term imbalances will become mid-term and then long-term. Nothing on the horizon to make a difference on forex in flows. Cocoa sales down, foreign direct investment at a record low, oil revenues declining. Ghanaian business funds scrambling to leave the country, a huge run on the USD like in the fall is becoming more and more likely.

Only foreign remittances are remaining strong. That's not enough for a balanced forex situation.

Gray and black markets will more and more take over, unstoppable.

With the start of a new government early next year we will see the complete mess much more clearly.
