    It's only in Ghana that import duties are higher than the cost of items purchased. Import duties don't make any economic sense in Ghana

    THE GRA USES THE INVOICES OF IMPORTED GOODS TO CALCULATE DUTIES AND OTHER CHARGES.
    ARE THE INVOICES ISSUED IN CEDIS?

    It's only in Ghana that imported duty is higher than the cost of item purchased. Nobody understands the calculation of imported duties at the port of Tema.
