In any case were we not in this country when a company was brought in as part of a consortium only to be exposed that it was a barbering shop, look at the PDS, Sky trains etc. So discerning minds I believe should always call for diligence, transparency and and thorough background checks of some of these companies, that , parade themselves to sign agreements, our leaders must not always rush to sign agreements because, they will benefit today, but think of the generations beyond. The need certification from individual countries to prove they are registered and duly certified as an international performing entities. The insult will not help. Ghana currently do not have the capacity to supply the said hub with the needed fossil fuels for production and it will not change for the next future. Our upstream capacity is limited as it does not even make us net exporter of oil and gas, how then can we have surplus to run such mega project?

Our energy sector (upstream production) has collapsed under this government so if they are roping such nice ideas around your neck, you should know that it’s just a scam for political capital… take it with a pinch of salt.
