In any organized system credit score system helps streamline banking and trade. Attempts were made several years ago and even under NDC to introduce it but true to form the BRAIN DEAD BUNCH FAILED. Those of us who lived abroad, know the value of education and decided to learn and not just follow football learnt proper knowledge and common sense. Why are we destroying the country and misleading vulnerable citizens? Anyway only ignorant and idiotic NDC MEMBERS WILL FOLLOW RANDY’S EMPTY RANTS NOT BACKED BY ANY PROPER CERTIFICATED KNOWLEDGE. They don't care whether you business is doing well to payback or not, the interest keeps accumulating. Once you default that is all. Our system is full of promise and fail so the credit system won't work any magic. Teachers have GNAT, GNARAT loans.

A credit card is a short term revolving consumer loan...and it comes with extremely high interest rate compared with conventional loans like personal, auto, mortgage etc loans...hence without a good, well paying job, banks and lenders will either deny you or give you a card with low credit limit which ultimately affects your credit scoring because you'll be exceeding your credit limit....and if you're unable to payoff your debts every month, the punitively high interest rate will Sink you into bankcruptcy...
So a consumer credit card without good jobs is no game changer...it's not a joke my brother

debt is a burden. Let try to live a content lives. People borrow so much to show off and at the end of the day, they can't sleep in peace.
Let not politicise this, it more honorable to purchase and pay off outright. Notwithstanding having some relief with credit is cool...
The typical Ghanaian will build from the roof rather than the foundation, the test environment for the credit system is " developed countries " can beat our chest and claim we are developed. Leader's please lay a strong foundation of financial sustainability for the citizens then all other things will follow.....

A credit card is a short term revolving consumer loan...and it comes with extremely high interest rate compared with conventional loans like personal, auto, mortgage etc loans...hence without good, well paying jobs, banks and lenders will either deny you or give you a card with low credit limit which ultimately affects your credit scoring because you'll be exceeding your credit limit of spending....and if you're unable to payoff your debts every month, the punitively high interest rate will Sink you into bankcruptcy...which means you're blacklisted for life!...no lender will give you any type of loan...
So a consumer credit card without good jobs in a stable thriving economy is no game changer...it's not a joke!...it's rather a poverty trap for the working class with low wages...it will definitely screw them...the way forward is therefore job creation in a high growth economy..
