  Some of us are ready to help with all the resources required, technology and finance to process all the soya beans locally, for both domestic and export markets. Perhaps John Mahama should take contact, so we can fix this problem already next year.

  Are you a "Value Chain" association (including processors and farmers) or an "Exporters" Association. Your statement seems to suggest that the ban is a complete ban on Soya bean exports. First you need to explain that the uncontrolled unregulated export of soya bean literally collapsed the animal feed mill industry which is the backbone of the poultry, egg and meat industry. There is a permit system which approves requests for export permits. This has curtailed the rate and ease with which foreign companies with unmatched financial buy soya directly at the farm gate for exports, pushing out Ghanaian processors and exporters from the business, even after government had invest taxpayers money in supporting farmers. Tell the whole story. Even processors had been compelled to also buy for export to cash in on windfall profits.
