  What is actually preventing ECG to roll out Prepaid Meters nationwide? Doing this will solve virtually the revenue side of the problem before he technical bit.

  Of course they will losing money if they operate badly like that. If they have power outages constantly aka Dumsor they lose money as they are not selling power at most times. There should be private competition in power gene ...

  Of course they will losing money if they operate badly like that. If they have power outages constantly aka Dumsor they lose money as they are not selling power at most times. There should be private competition in power generation here as in advance countries. ECG have a monopoly so they don't care how they operate. The management should also be paid a performance based salary.

  Remove all post paid meters and instal very good prepaid ones
  Monitor power supplied to each area and do reconciliation to find the level of accountability
  Look inwardly at Ecg company itself and the employees are those responsible for the losses
  Instal solar panels in all govt ministries and bungalows
  So much has to be done but he leakage into peoples pockets is too much

  ECG problems is caused by the politicians, NPP and NDC are the same whenever there is elections they go around installing postpaid meters for campaign without ECG capturing the meters so the people are useing power free for years so what do you expect, now that they are replacing the postpaid with prepaid meters the politicians are still installing postpaid as I'm writing
