Mama Kristal, the front burner issue of today, is the human condition of people who are engaged in wage work, Prof wolff is arguing that the market economy system have treated them shabbily(poor pay,poor working condition and sometimes toxic work environment created by unhealthy working environment) But ultimately the system fails to take into account the consequences of of their action on our shared environment and this thinking that as long as they pay their part in funding politician, they can be absolved of the cost of providing the infrastructure they enjoy in thier operations and not whether or not grants and stipends are being provided to people who can't tell their left from their right

It's like we don't have even half of a leader much more one to fight the IMF and World Bank. If you go to Washington DC, both financial institutions face each other across the street. Alan Kyeremanteng, Cheddar, etc etc can't stand those two institutions for half a day. As for the NDC and NPP the IMF love them too much because they benefit from our stupidity in voting for the two useless parties.

I don't believe this new initiative by IMF will bolster the economic improvement of poor countries. For decades they have been coming up with new strategies but never materialize. What makes them think this new approach will work? IMF has to know that Poor countries are full of government dictators who enrich themselves. Second, there is no structural accountability in these countries. Capitalism is missing in these poor countries in their educational structure.
