  The idea of profit sharing has been bundled around for sometime now by it's advocates as a vehicle the ordinary working person can use to gain some holdings in the interest(largely equity) at the various places of work which is most situated the market economy where the various products and services we us to make like bearable is produced.If my words are not considered too high a mechanism which will fix the market economy, the scholarship is that the scourge earth policies adopted by the captains in our market economy today has become outdated and a reflection of the legacy accumulated over decades of former ideologies such as manifest destiny(American) free markets and many more of such policies which made the market economic system a successful and prosperous an example the rest of the world copied with a local twist to suit indeginous conditions but this once successful example is faltering according to Prof Wolff and many other economist

  Just like it did during the Presidency of Mr Rooselvelts and more recently the Crises in 2008, which precipitated the American Govt. to doll out unprecedented amounts of taxpayers money to the Financial Sector, the soundness though of that undertaking is still being debated in our various institutions of Higher Learning but what we do know is that the policy failed to address this issue to imbalance in the distribution of equity in the market economy which then feeds into an imbalance that will be displayed by the decisions of our captains of industry when they are formulation financial and economic policies for their various operating concerns to simply sum it up, in their Declarations of Independence the forebears of the modern United State Country stated their believe that all of Mankind were Created Equal but this equally like Prof Wolff joking puts it is limited to casting of ballots for politicians every so and so years and doesn't extend to broader sphere of life, the workplace, the environment

  So this supposedly inequality problem,has become the bane of our time just like the form of Governance the then newly independent State must adopt was in their time, and the possible workable solutions , like profit sharing worker coops and the likes seeks to engage the broader populace in the making of decisions which directly affects them, especially when it comes to the way they go about producing the products that makes life bearable for them instead of the current state of delegating authority to an individual most times a politician whose chief interest in raising as much financing as possible to fight the next election
