  Tourism is the next best foreign exchange earner for Ghana, after cocoa and gold. The incoming NDC Government should focus more on this than on its '24hr Economy', manifesto pledge, if it wants to arrest (and that doesn't involve any handcuffing) the runaway cedi to dollar foreign exchange rate.

  Tourism may bring in some hard cash to boost our economy, but cannot help much to stabilize our economic downturns.
  IMF is very good at misleading. And that their observation is nothing to go by.
  We must fight corruption with all the seriousness, and do well to increase our production levels of goods and services. And reduce, sharply, the imports from those countries who are the owners of the destructive IMF.
  Tourism cannot stabilize our currency, it is a big , big lie !

Acts of unpunished violence will put tourists off, especially if the perceived risk are high the US State Department had no choice but to announce a Travel Advisory that Xmas in Ghana may a risky Dirtry December than usual for tourists.
