In Mahama's interview with the VOA he's now redefining his 24hr economy in terms of increase of PRODUCTION by private sector. Ghanaians conned and taken for a ride.

It's time for all those who thought its a workable policy to help John Dramani with ideas. Period! Ghanaians may have been naive to fall for this prank, but they're wise enough to know it's a promise that must be fulfilled. John Dramani won the elections based on 24-hour economy promise, as a tool to cure unemployment. He must implement it or resign. Ghanaians showed mercy when they promised one-term NHIS premium and failed flat. This time, no mercy!

The NDC 24 hr Economy can be achieved: However, only by doing the following: Setting up a number of Commercial Hubs in strategic locations across the country. Such as Trading hubs (for general products and cosmetics) petroleum hubs, MRO hubs/village( for oil and gas, mining, aviation, civil, automotive etc)

Hubs/villages setup: Through Private- Public partnership.

Customers:
1. the Ghanaian general public
2. Industries within Ghana who wants to buy MRO products: e.g for the oil and gas, mining, aviation space, civil etc
3. Neighbouring African countries to come to the hubs and buy and also take shops within the hubs and sell.
4. Other African countries can do the same
5. Other foreign countries can do the same

The management, Shops, services, stores, exhibitions centres within the centres are rented by:
1. Ghanaians
2. African countries
3. Foreign countries (they mostly have the technical products to service the oil and gas, mining sector etc

The beauty of this is these massive trading centres is open 24/7. For example, companies in neighbouring countries coming to Ghana at all odd hours to these trading centres, to buy MRO products for their respective mining, oil and gas companies..etc.

With busy centres and the odd times of these human inflows… a lot of hotels, eateries, essential shops etc will be required 24/7 and will start springing up.

Lastly, the establishment of these initial hubs will lead to other satellite hubs springing up across the country.

Therefore “ YES” the 24hr economy is possible. However, a lot of work and effort has to be done upfront before it can succeed.
