A very good and laudable idea. But the investors should be told that this time, Ghana is opened for business not by importing finished products into Ghana but setting up industries in Ghana to process the raw inputs into finished goods and sold either locally or export to foreign markets. The 2nd coming of President John Mahama should be on export orientation and industrialization of the economy rather than import of goods that can be produced in Ghana. The new trade minister should realign our trade policy to make meaning to NDC's 24hour policy.

Well said but I doubt all the 'fine-fine' commentary he ran on the day. All the promises he made throughout his campaigns and what he said at his inauguration would be played back to him. You stood on campaign platform and said you would abolish covid-19 tax, E-levy, betting tax etc and at the 11th hour to take office you said you will rather rationalise them but not abolish them. Ei JDM is that how you are? I'm not surprised at all because you said that in campaigning, you say what will give you votes to win power. Now you're in power so you are running away from what you promised the people. Not all of us have short memories.

Over the years, there has never been a billionaire from Ghana but yet yearly you see new billionaires arising from Nigeria.
