  Ghanaian agronomist, economics, agric departments in the universities and other tertiary institutions are perhaps our draw back. For years they cannot figure out what to do to increase agric production all year round always relying on rain fed agriculture. Inflation only comes down during the yearly harvest period and they take the credit for this. May God help us. Everything fails in this country- one village one dam, Pwalugu irrigation dam, Kpong dam, lower volta dam, solar powered bore holes to supply water in small holder cocoa farms during Pres Kuffours time, cocoa pollination programs during 1st NPP Administration all collapse. A country of collapsing programmes and policies. A never do well nation only politics by all day round on radio stations. A nation that cannot feed itself.

  It's the depreciation of the cedi that is coursing food inflation so the fundamental problem is the depreciation of the cedi if not solved there would be no solution to our problems as a country
