    That is a great display of leadership and integrity by JDM. However, we hope that the government subsidy will not lead to a reduction in the number of pilgrimages.

    Saa? And who is going to pay the difference? The taxpayers money is now going to be used to pay for religious travels when workers cannot afford goods and services. Ok. What about Christians who go on pilgrimage?

    If the government uses tax payers money to subsidize the hajj, then there's no need to cancel teacher training allowance. Everyone deserves a piece of the national cake
