  Good move , it will also create casual jobs for the youth around the cocoa growing areas. The higher the price ,the higher the cost for hiring a by day worker. They now charge 100Gh to work for 5 hours on the farm so buying a bag of Cocoa for 7000Gh will help them also charge 200 or 250 a day which will compete with what they get when they go for galamsey and it is safe too.An increase in cocoa price is not only for the farmers.
