  if Ghana can establish solar factory to produce the components of the solar energy like the panels and the battery since we have lithium we can position ourselves in better energy source and even sell excess to ECG.Pre.Koffou ...

  if Ghana can establish solar factory to produce the components of the solar energy like the panels and the battery since we have lithium we can position ourselves in better energy source and even sell excess to ECG.Pre.Koffour said this and we must continue with it.At least a factory each in on region will help create jobs and help out power supply.What can happen if govt help the private sectors to create a factory in each region.The Chinese are good at that.

  It is time for government to invite private participation in certain wholly government institutions. This is because of the huge financial outlay needed to run them. These are ECG, TOR, VRA, GRIDCO. It is obvious that government cannot do it alone. Look at GCB Bank and GOIL they are making profits and declaring dividends because of private participation. It also minimises unnecessary government interferences. Thank you
