The amount stated is only for Gold mining.
If you take into account all the other sectors including state institutions and the ministries, we might be closer to thrice that amount yearly.

One wonders why this did not form the foundation for which IMF bailout. Addressing corruption seriously will not only benefit the stability of the economy but will increase the GDP of Ghana which will bring confidence for more inward investment. And bridge the hug gap between the rich and poor
