It is a pity that a refinery that was built to refine and distribute oil will, today, be boasting about performance in fuel storage. Even a dump person can store and distribute fuel. Why the fu*k can't we build and operate our own refinery. Ghanaian engineers and politicians should have known that plant and equipment are, generally, designed to last for 15 years. That was the reason Firestone sold their tire factory to Ghana after 13 years. In the case of a refinery, I have seen modern equipment designed to last for 30 years. Why did our stupid, corrupt governments of the past not plan for the replacement of the TOR equipment? And we are thinking of Cathedrals?
