  Some areas in Ghana are difficult to survey because of CRIMINAL element, and not safe.By giving Chinese access and the ease of getting a lease to mine gold is where the problem is and has always been.
  But they bribe themselves into the business, starting right from the top ,and paid protection money to police and army.to allow them to do whatever they like to the environment, and there lies the problem u got today.
  So Ghana can only blame themselves for what they are looking at now Governments are the root of all evil, in ANY COUNTRY IN THE AFRICAN CONTINENT, AND GHANA IS NO EXCEPTION.GHANA HAS BEEN RAPED BY SUCCESSIVE GOVERNMENTS FOR 20 YEARS WITH SMALL SCALE MINING OR GALAMSEY AS ITS NOW KNOWN WITH NO CONTROLS OVER IT,AND NOW PAYING A HEAVY PRICE.
  EVEN IF GALAMSEY IS STOPPED TODAY,IT WILL TAKE A GENERATION FOR FOREST RESERVES AND VEGETATION TO COME BACK TO LIFE......COCOA PRODUCTION CAN COME BACK BUT ONLY WITH THE GREED ELEMENT.AND THIEVING FROM GROWERS RIGGING SCALES, TO STEAL FROM GROWERS AS HAS BEEN IN THE PAST TO STOP
  THERE IS A LOT OF LOW LIFE PEOPLE IN GHANA ,A LOT ....RIGHT AT THE TOP.....HOPEFULLY BEING JAILED FOR EXTENED PERIODS OF TIME TO SET AN EXAMPLE IF YOU DO WRONG ,YOU WILL PAY FOR YOUR CRIMES.
  CHINA WILL EVENTUALLY GROW MORE COCOA THAN GHANA AND GHANA GAVE THE CHINESE THE KNOW HOW.YOU CANT TRUST THESE BASTARDS ,BUT GHANA ARE NAIEVE TO KNOW WHATS GOING ON.
  LAND RECLAIMED, CAN KICK START COCOA PRODUCTION,BY OFFERING GRANTS TO ONLY GHANA FARMERS ,NOT LOAN BUT A GRANT TO HELP TO REPLANT NEW TREES....TO A PRODUCTION STAGE.
  THE GRANT WOULD HAVE BE MONITORED AND NOT JUST HAND OVER A BLANK CHEQUE FOR THE TOTAL COST.HELPWITH PLANT AND EQUIPMENT, COST OF LIVING EXPENSES.....FERTILIZER ETC.
  AND FINALLY A REALISTIC PRICE FOR THE END PRODUCT TO PREVENT BLACK MARKET SELLING OR SMUGGLING ACROSS BORDERS.
  IN THE PAST THE BOARD HAS BEEN RUN BY THIEVES AND FOOLS......HOPEFULLY THIS CAN BE TURNED AROUND.
  THE JURY IS STILL OUT, ON WHAT CAN DONE TO TURN THINGS AROUND.IF I WAS RUNNING THE SHOW AND SOMEONE FUCKED UP.AND STARTED DOING DEVIOUS THINGS, I WOULD TAKE THEM BEHIND A SHED ,TOLD THEM TO KNEEL DOWN ......AND PUT A ROUND IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD.....AND WOULD THINK NOTHING OF IT. TO SET AN EXAMPLE.
