A coin that, after we buy it, we don't even know if we own it or not. If you own a coin, you should be allowed to do what you want with it, including smelting it for jewellery etc. If that is not allowed with the Gold Coin, then you don't own it. It's a type of money that is owned by the state and it's price is dictated by the state. If tomorrow the government says the gold coin costs 1 Ghana Cedi, you can't do anything about it. You don't own the coin, you just own the value that the government says it has.
