I thought you guys basterdized the 'gold for oil' policy and corroborated the NDC's propaganda. It's clear that internal discipline alone can't fix the cedi if the global 'stars' don't align. Bawumia was heading the right direction though. We are an import based economy and are 'ab initio' subject to global economic volatility. If the NDC think the 'Gold for oil' policy wasn't good they should feel free to abolish it right now. I will still give them the credit for the recent cedi appreciation but let them cancel it so that everyone will know if the policy was working or not. That's a simple control experiment to do if they are not ready to acknowledge Bawumia for the policy.

Trump policies are causing these short term cedi appreciation and NDC is telling Ghanaians that they are working tirelessly for that.
