No, they should not reduce it. Let their own people suffer. They will make money out of this and insult the government in addition. No government official should intervene. That is their attitude. We are not in Rawlings' era where people will be forced, chased and whipped. This is exactly what happened in Rawlings time. People had the goods and they were not ready to sell for the ordinary people who needed them. They stored the goods to sell it later at higher price while the people were suffering. When Rawlings intervened and forced them to sell the goods, they ended up calling Rawlings a wicked person. They forgot what they did was very wicked. Today, they are on the same path. Look at Abossey Okai spare parts dealers who always complain about the dollar rate. Today, the dollar has gone down, but they are refusing to reduce the prices of spare parts. This is their real attitude, though not all of them but major of Ashantis are like that.
