Stupidity. I cancelled my Access Package for Netflix which starts from $2.99. I also use my DSTV decoder for Free to Air channels and it delivers better picture than using the inbuilt satellite feature on the TV.

I do not think DSTV (Multi Choice) is being fair to its subscribers, including me. It used to be the practice for DSTV to increase prices when the cedi depreciates. Instead of reducing prices on their bouquets, they are simply taking Ghanaians for fools by simply opting to upgrade a subscriber to another bouquet. What it must do is to reduce their bouquet prices and to give Ghanaians the option to decide what bouquet they want. The cedi has appreciated substantially and therefore DSTV should revert to the prices at which the sold their bouquets when the exchange rate of the cedi to the dollar was GHS10+. The deceptive attitude of DSTV should be condemned completely.

Reduction means reducing your actual price to lowest price. Meaning if I pay 380 ghs you will reduce to 280 ghs then I can praise you. But not come up with a master plan to keep the same amount for upgrade... does it make sense to you. Mobile data is very expensive in ghana instead of Sam George decrease the amount of money spend on Mobile data he increased the amount for 250gb instead of 90gb. And Ghanaians doesn't know it's still expensive because you will still run out of data before the end of the month. In Europe we pay for €15 or €20 for data but it's unlimited data which means after paying that amount you will use the data for the month so you won't recharge bundles again and that's what Sam George should have done. Your 250gb will still run out because it's not unlimited data. Unlimited you can use as much and watch and search, download everything but it won't affect you.
