  The managers of our economy must ensure that those strategic investments have favourable clauses in joint venture agreements with Ghanaian business men and women. Such agreements must be crafted to avoid as much as possible capital flight and so grow the economy tangibly. Otherwise, let us forget it!

  When we are trying to become independent of these Asians who couldn't care less about our interests, you are rather asking for more.
  
  This situation is fast resembling indentured servitude. We could throw off slavery and colonialism because it was perpetrated by force of arms. But how can we, in future, legally cancel contracts that we are begging for?
