  Ban Styrofoam packs immediately. Worst polluting item floating everywhere in drains and rivers. This thing is not recycled and a major hazard. You see this thing flying around everywhere. Preventing flooding is more important than keeping some greedy people in business who dont care. What the President said about banning it made so much sense and now just playing around this wise decision is disappointing.

  A bad call. This will only result in higher prices for consumers, for the plastic producers will simply pass the cost of waste collection to the consumer by raising prices. The better approach is is to emphasis public responsibility when it comes to discarding plastic waste. Businesses that attract the use of plastic products should bear the cleaning cost of discarded plastic materials. Impose fines on those caught littering, and heavier penalties on businesses or individuals who are big offenders.
