Since most of these vehicles are from North America, you can simply go to carfax.com, enter the car VIN number and the system will tell you if the car is stolen.
Very irresponsible and alarmist comments. So they've essentially branded owners of those vehicles as complicit or accomplices even if their vehicles are not stolen vehicles or have no knowledge of the car's stolen origins. Wo ...

What kind of useless advice is this? Just point them to databases where one can easily check if a vehicle has been listed as stolen. Accident free 2023/24 bla bla bla is not a verification tactic.
