What a waste of money. It is possible to use the existing Ghana card database to link the Old Number Plates to each car owner's number. A new number plate format comes with a new database structure.

Avenue to chop money.!
It doesn't solve the problem they intend to do with this new plate unless all number plates are changed to this format.

Copy copy people. Its ok to improve on existing things. You do not need to copy things that doesnt improve living conditions of people. This number plate is Eastern African style. Do we need it? No.
Link it to the Ghana National Card, please - track and trace, please. Without linking it to a national database, there will always be fraud.
Please remove the Regions from the top. Just link it to the Ghana National Card. In the future, you can also link it to the future toll locations - Think about the unification of systems. That's where the world is headed
Yes link it to Ghana Card. Also do something about the DV plates.. Allow DV for only 1 month.
This is transposing from the UK style we currently have to the US style. We are always harvesting somewhere, never being original.
nothing to invent about vehicle licences.. only INNOVATIONS
The regional map behind the number is not only unattractive, distractive and unnecessary but it looks like a smudge and spoils the otherwise well-laid out presentation of the other vital details. The choice of font is also an ...

So the new plate will replace the old ones from 2026 or the old ones would be used together with the new ones?
Guys what copy copy US style plate is this? Our current style which is UK/EU based is superior to the US style you're proposing. The OCR readers of your new toll system will operate better with the original number plate forma ...

It's sad how 98% of Ghanaians oppose change....we hate change with passion why???? Are we that illiterate?
So GR1 will still indicate the year the vehicle was registered am sure next year it's going to be GR2 so we will still know the year of registration so it's just waste of energy
Useless
Not necessary at all. Complete waste of time and money. Financial loss to the state. Fix the roads instead !
Thank you.
They just want to chop money. What's wrong with the current number plate. The current one even gives more information than what's being proposed. What's this GR1 nonsense? If anything at all, maintain the year of ...

The current numbering system is working perfectly without limitations. Why change it?
Creating an avenue to chop money. Have you forgotten the bus branding or something something? NDC is in power again
Four digits forming the first part of the number are too many. Has the DVLA investigated replacing the first digit by a letter? For example, A230.....Simple maths shows that a registration system that replaces the first numbe ...
