What a waste of money. It is possible to use the existing Ghana card database to link the Old Number Plates to each car owner's number. A new number plate format comes with a new database structure.

This new format implies cars with this new number plate will be psychologically assumed to be much newer than those with the old plates.

If all the numbers are not changed to this new plate, it will take many years until the intended purpose will be achieved.

Copy copy people. Its ok to improve on existing things. You do not need to copy things that doesnt improve living conditions of people. This number plate is Eastern African style. Do we need it? No.

Please remove the Regions from the top. Just link it to the Ghana National Card. In the future, you can also link it to the future toll locations - Think about the unification of systems. That's where the world is headed

The regional map behind the number is not only unattractive, distractive and unnecessary but it looks like a smudge and spoils the otherwise well-laid out presentation of the other vital details. The choice of font is also another disaster. With this font, the number 1, can easily be mistaken for a 7 by the overwhelming number of people who are not familiar with font varieties.

So GR1 will still indicate the year the vehicle was registered am sure next year it's going to be GR2 so we will still know the year of registration so it's just waste of energy

I think DVLA, should be prepared to ask old plates users to be ready to change their plates numbers come January so that it will conform with the new one they intend to bring out in January.

This number plate changing is a new ploy to fleece vehicle owners knowing that their voter base may largely be unaffected,those who voted for them must reflect on what they have done to themselves and their future.Voting with head is always better than stomach.
