It is horrible. I would encourage drivers to install cameras in their vehicles and also tecord anytime they are stopped by police for checks.

First of all, repair your vwhicles though, get all papers correct and take classes on defending your rights. Educate yourselves first. Most of you drivers can't even read or write. This is also causing you problems.
Police must NEVER collect money from citizens. IT IS A CRIME. Film and record them, so they will be sacked.

Alliance of drivers indeed. What have they said about the way our drivers behave on the road? Now they stop anywhere and park anywhere in their daily rounds to pick passengers. I sincerely believe they contribute to the incidence of high blood pressure of the elderly by their conduct on the road. They drive on the shoulder of the road and cut in front of others. I believe the police are too soft on them. If they take bribes, the minimum should be two hundred cedis and that will bite hard enough for them to straighten up.

The appropriate authorities should look into this as soon as possible and find a means to put a stop to the practice. We can never develop as a nation if the law enforcement authorities are corrupt.
