  Goldbod is not honest if it claims that it is not purchasing gold from these illegal miners . If it does not, then who buys these illegal gold and how does the illegal gold get outside the country? If government can not stop galamsey, these galamseyers must still sell their gold by any means. The only way to stop galamsey is to criminalize the possession and sale of gold from illegal operators. It is possible that Goldbod has a separate avenue to purchase gold from these galamseyers which is funded by individuals in Goldbod who may profiting at the expense of the government. This must be investigated to determine who buys the gold from the galamseyers.
