  These mangoes have a short shelf life and the best thing to do for these farmers is for the government to buy these fruits from the farmers to be processed into fresh ne mango juice and exported for foreign exchange.
  The Nsawam cannery that is supposed to serve as buyer of these produce has been sold to selfish individuals who have clout . The government must reclaim the Nsawam cannery and make it a government owned enterprise like the Komenda sugar factory. Our leaders should stop the privatization of government enterprises in order to create jobs for the youth .
