  I call these populist proposals. What we need is large scale mechanized farming and not subsistence agriculture. We should make the agricultural sector attractive and modern.

  Which efforts of the government are you talking about? Where are the mechanisation centres located? We paid the same amount for ploughing an acre of land just like that of last year, bought fertilizers at costs higher than last year, paid higher for labour than last year and in unluckily circumstances earned nothing. The lucky ones are crying for at least recovery prices for their investments to pay off their loans yet you are praising the government for unseen efforts. Can't hide my disappointment of the government's attitude towards farmers including myself.
