It is good to have this project but not now. What is needed now is a railway line linking Accra to Boankra/Kumasi. There is enough feasibility studies to support the financial viability of this project. For instance a single trip of rail coaches can remove about 500 cars off the road. Example is Amtrak in United States.
Benefits include, less road deterioration, accidents, pollution the neighbouring countries need not travel to Accra/Tema. The expressway will look beautiful initially but don't forget our culture of maintenance.

Why can't we finish projects we put our hands on before starting a new one? We have so many unfinished business es resulting in wasteful national resources.Almost all the delayed project affect the Ashanti region. Examples include the Suame Overhead, the Boankra Railroad, the Accra-Kumasi road, etc.

Ghanaians are a friendly lot, but their work ethic is pretty poor. Constant supervision is a must at all times, of one expects the work to get done within a reasonable period of time. There is no sense of urgency to get things done on time.
