ELECTRONICS LIKE TVS HAVE A LIFESPAN DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF HOURS THEY ARE USED. YOU BUY A 65 INCH TV GOR 9000 CEDIS AND WITHIN 3 MONTHS EITHER SCREEN OR MOTHER BOARD GO OFF. YOU TAKE IT THERE AND THEY ASK YOU TO BUY A NEW SCREEN WHICH THEY HAVE IMPORTED FROM CHINA. THAT COULD COST YOU AROUND 5500 CEDIS. ALWAYS BUY BRAND NEW TVS. GO TO THE MALLS OR BRAND NEW TV SHOWROOMS. A BRAND NEW NASCO IS BETTER THAN AN LG WHICH HAS BEEN USED FOR EVEN FIVE YEARS. TVS HAVE A LIFESPAN OF BETWEEN 5 TO TEN YEARS. YOU CAN THROW YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AWAY. THE FUNNY THI NG IS,SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO ADD JUST 2000 CEDIS TO GET THAT SAMSUNG FROM COMPUGHANA, ELECTROMART ,MECOM OR HISENSE OR TCL. IT HAD HAPPENED TO SO MANY PEOPLE. MINISTRY OF TRADE SHOULD LOOK INTO THIS BAD TRADING PRACTICE WHERE ONE IS GIVEN ONLY ONE WEEK WARRANTY

  Good advice. However, it is very important that these business men are oriented on safety principles and the fraudsters amongst them stopped from operating. The general.public need to be educated on the purchase of appropriate electronic gadgets using all communication channels available.May be Ghana Standard Authority may be helpful in this stance
