Yes, you need a sack because some of your actions do not make any sense. How can you ask car owners to pay 25 cedis to digitise information you collected when their vehicles were being registered. It smacks of robbery.

The aborted new number plate, was cabinet approval sought before the roll out? These are pertinent issues that the public want to know. People are appointed to public office and they decided to do what pleases their heart without due consultations. That is a danger that can cause you your job.

Following this reregistration exercise, Ghana will lose millions of Ghana cedis due to your inefficiency.

Initially when he was appointed I thought he has a superior knowledge to reform the DVLA not knowing that he has nothing! just empty with the same old mentality.

Now let is go back to the reasons why he failed the youth and the new generations who wanted a change and reforms within that State Administrative Authority of the DVLA.

When you requested for the driving license that should not be an automatic renewable thing. For example, I am a Ghanaian who lives in Australia or any parts of the world. I decided to get driving license whilst in Ghana for 2 weeks stay or I was having driving license and I travelled outside the country for 3 or 5 years.
when I am back to Ghana, do I have to pay paneity for all these years? Does it make sense? this is funny and a procedural nonsense

If someone's roadworthy has expired, does it make sense to pay for penalty? There is nothing like automatic roadworthy renewal. if your license has expired and you are still using it, that is why police and the court area there for compliance.
DVLA can not be a regulator and enforcer, it does not happen any where in the world. if your car has broken down for two years due to financial handicaps or any other reasons, how do you renew that road worthy thing? if you have travelled outside Ghana or even decided not to use car for 3 years. why should you pay for a paneity when u choose to drive once again?

These are the things I was expecting him to address but rather showing off at any given opportunity within the public space why?

I am sure the current boss of DVLA is going to get his share , but if he came to meet a valid contract and Vemag does not have any formal arrangements with DVLA, what is he supposed to do?
The current DVLA boss might have his faults, but I don't think Vemag has any leg other than to say they are going to lose jobs. Why didn't they formalise their arrangements with DVLA all this while.
But as always, everything in Ghana is about politics , tribalism and chop chop. The fact that Neequaye is Ga should not even be a factor here. And Vemag should have been proactive to engage with the company with the valid contract instead of resorting to threats.
