  • Why punish consumers? 1 day ago

If Star Oil can sell fuel at GHS 9.50 per litre and make a profit, why should the govt punish the "long suffering" Ghanaian consumer for the inefficiency and/or greed of other OMCs through higher prices?

  • Joko 1 day ago

It’s not about Star Oil alone , a floor price is essential to sustain the industry. If OMCs are allowed to undercut each other by lowering prices , the biggest amongst them cld still make profit but the smaller ones cld be ...

Joko, Your argument is non-fa. You are making any sense.

What is the price floor though? If you can't sell at GHS 9.50, can't you sell at 9.51, or even 9.60?

Then the so-called "small companies" do not qualify to be in the market. What utter hogwash!!

  • Kwame 1 day ago

If smaller marketers can't compete, let them close shop.

  • Ben 1 day ago

He can go ahead and sell at 9.51. It will still be above the price floor.
