  low economic activity and low income levels for so many years made it difficult for rooms in kasoa to be given out at competitive rate so people all over Accra and beyond went to kasoa. Even now room may cost high if amenities are of a very high standard. People enjoyed lower rent for a very long time so they think they are paying too much now. at the time it cost more to build a single room in kasoa than accra because transportation cost to kasoa influenced everything.
