At times it becomes extremely difficult to get the kind of politics being played in Ghana. If really today's economic gains is not the doings of the government of the day but rather the IMF program then it is logically sound to brand the past government of the NPP the most useless ever.

The IMF program in contention actually started with the past NPP government yet people had their hair badly cut, resulting in death. Prices of goods and services were way way beyond the reach of ordinary Ghanaians. The cedi was battered by the dollar beyond imagination. Are the NPP saying that they did not derive any benefit from the IMF intervention which started during their era?

The NPP, in fact, has become the most discredited political party which Ghanaians must discard. When things are moving well for the present government, they will tell you it was due to the good measures put in place by Bawumia and the NPP government. When they realize that it is not holding water, they will tell you the government is pumping billions of dollars into the system to stabilize the economy, what an inconsistent party?

No matter the lies, Ghanaians of right thinking minds are not in any hurry to welcome NPP, the party whose philosophy is property owning democracy back to power soon.
