  Close scrutiny of the Governor’s statements shows a deliberate effort to not state the real reason for reduction of the gold reserves, which implies a sale, and for what purpose when gold is rallying on geopolitical concerns which will not stop soon. The sale maybe legitimate to cover losses or to support their balance sheet, which must be stated, but such a rapid, 50% reduction raises concerns.
