  No body is questioning forex intermediation. Why, will this be the first time it is being done? It is the quantum and it's impact that is worrying. For an economy that is worth 80 billion dollars in nominal terms, to pump 10 billion dollars in less than a year for forex intervention is insane. Put into perspespective, if this continues, in 4 years, we would have pumped over 40% of our gdp which is currently growing at 4% pa for that purpose. That is how unsustainable it is.
