Even in advanced countries with high literate population...they simplify the sales tax ...

Why impose this complication on a population that majority are illiterates

Even in advanced countries with high literate population...they simplify the sales tax to be flat at 6% or 7% on everytime item purchased and ensure that traders and manufacturers just charge the 6% and pay it to the approriate state institution.

Look at this stupidity of claim your input and if not registered you cannot claim the input etc

The country does not even have enough accountants to do all these complications.

I am so sick of this foolishness and the stupidity of our leaders especially the Akuffo Addo regime that continued all this nonsense.

That is why there is so much tax evasion in the system
