  Introduce energy conservation measures and education to bring consumption down. There is too much wastage in night electricity consumption in Accra for example. Offices and stores leave lights on during off hours of operation causing what is termed "light pollution".

  There are many homes and many light, medium, and heavy industries using electricity for FREE. These industries consume a lot of power that distort the ACTUAL amount of power being used by Ghanaians. There are lots of illegal connections and usage of substandard electric meters, all of which affect the total electric power consumption pattern and aggregate.
  Audit the power consumption of these industries and you would be surprised at the positive net effect on the balance sheet of the ECG.

  Currently, almost every public outfit is headed by Doctorate Degree holder. However, they are always talking, talking, with less increased productivity.
  That PURC head should quit making such unnecessary statements but focus and concentrate on producing much more energy and power to meet the expansion limits of Ghana.
