  Ghana is truly stuck in the 19th century.
  
  Having over 170 state owned enterprises that have never turned a pesewa in profits is rather shameful and need to be either sold or bulldozed!

  Reform should start from appointments to the Board of Directors and CEO roles. It is hypocritical to lament the poor performance of SOE when you put incompetent , unqualified and politically exposed personnel in leadership roles. The VP should be confronting the elephant in the role by saying that her government will use a competitive and rigorous process to recruit key personnel to run SOEs, like Singapore and other high performing economies. LET’S STOP THE HYPOCRISY!
