  It's about time The CONTINENT takes ownership of It's natural resources.

  Why is a tycoon?
  He owns just ten(10)% of the issued and outstanding shares of the company.
  And, as a minority shareholder he can't even nominate a member of the board of directors of the company who by statute control the company.
  And
  Here's the kicker.
  Even if the company makes a profit and the board decides not to declare any dividends he won't get any income from his 10% holdings.
  In essence he has his wealth tied up without any income.
  Yes
  He can either take a loan using his holding as a collateral or he can sell some of his shares on the Ghana Stock Exchange.....depending on the mark to market valuation.
  And
  I can bet the majority shareholders will employ the non- dividend declaration to poach his 10% stake..that's their strategy...
  But, here's the caveat.
  He need not worry if he has outside income coming in.
  Nonetheless
  Congratulations.....young fella..
