The use of the DV number plates are used to deceive unsuspecting potential purchasers of vehicles. They run the vehicles for years before they decide to sell them. If you don't ask for the documents from the port and you buy, you are in for trouble. Importers must be given two weeks to register every vehicle.

A little commonsense management. Give drivers enough time to exchange their expired number plates. We are not in a Zombie state. I have friends who have parked their cars in the garrage and are out of the country.
