    Demolishing must go on without any hesitation. Makola is filthy, dirty, congested, crime scene, indiscipline a d all the bad things one can think off. How can our main capital business district be in such a miserable state.

    Why should government stop the demolition? Is the government happy with what the traders did to the erected fence? Ghana government must be proactive, build markets for the traders in the outskirts of town to decongest Accra.

    As much as I support the demolition, the Government should first make available a place for them (at the outskirts of the city) to carry out their commerce. At the end of the day, it is also about peoples' livelihood.
