Considering what is happening to Ghanaians in South Africa, it will be an unthinkable for the NDC and Mahama to renew the lease. What benefits have the locals received over the last 30 years?
Local expertise in mining has already been developed. Gold fields used Ghanaian expertise to mine the gold. Ghana should take over the mines now and list part in the Ghana stock exchange.
