  Its the market that decides if your cost of production outweighs receipts then reduce the acreage of cocoa production and move the excess into other cash produxts like cashew , organic fruits etc. In 30yrs since independence Malaysia reduced its cocoa production by 70% and the result we all see. Now those former cocoa farms gost semiconductor factories, and the children and grandchildren of their cocoa farmers are breaking Ai Codes whilst we are marking time still breaking cocoa pods with machetes!
