  It is unfortunate some contributors broke away from SSNIT and were lured into other areas for which they have regretted. I hope and pray that present and future governments will stay clear from SSNIT contributions so that SSNIT will be able to serve retired workers faithfully. We wish SSNIT well.

  Exactly!!! If your contributions are low your benefits will also be low!!! Don't go getting all your earnings in allowances because the calculations are based on basic salary!!!
