It is foreign currency the nation has earned which is in the custody of the Bank of Ghana. They release it to businesses,institutions and individuals in exchange for Ghana cedis so that they can use it to transact foreign related business. The cedis thus earned is still our money, kept intact in the Bank of Ghana. What is the essence of having foreign currency but to satisfy our needs. Stop that intellectual dishonesty. We are not ignorant.
