  I sometimes find myself reflecting on the commentary we hear from academics, journalists, and politicians on television. While I respect their expertise and right to express their views, I've noticed a pattern where certain policies that are already showing positive results are often dismissed as unsustainable. For example, when the country began backing its currency with gold, there were concerns raised about its viability. Yet 18 months later, we are seeing encouraging outcomes. I wonder if there is sometimes a gap between theory and practice—where the voices on screen may not fully reflect the realities on the ground. According to the Statistical Services, inflation seems to be driven largely by items like ginger and other non-essential goods, which are not daily necessities for most people. While no country operates in isolation, especially when it comes to commodities like crude oil, the way some panelists frame these issues often seems disconnected from the progress being made. I believe there is value in acknowledging what is working, even as we continue to improve.
