  GHANA IS RICHLY BLESSED AND ENDOWED WITH COUNTLESS VALUABLE NATURAL RESOURCES, SO PLANNED LEVERAGING ON THOSE NUMEROUS RESOURCES TO TAKE THE ADVANTAGES OF ECONOMIES OF SCALE BY HORIZONTAL AND/OR VERTICAL INTEGRATION SHOULD BE THE PRIMARY FOCUS OF GHANA'S LAZY "COPY AND PASTE" LEADERS WHO ALWAYS TARGET EASY CASH INFLOWS LIKE BEGGING FOR LOANS AND EXPLOITATIVE SENSELESS TAXATION AND OTHER STATUTORY LEVIES, NONE OF WHICH HAS GOT GHANA'S ECONOMY NOWHERE SINCE 1957.

  Rubbish- how many people pay tax in Ghana? How much do you think we get from national recourses? They are all foreign owned because we think we are incompetent and the foreigners give us 3 to 10 percent of the profit and take the rest out. Tax paying by all is a very good thing - no matter how small to your income.no big country in the world developed without citizens not paying enough tax- go to the US and EU and see. We have to widen the tax net, we have to stop few people paying taxes for others to dodge. we have to make leaders who use our taxes very accountable. Prison sentences should be given to leaders who steal and so on. We have to stop cheap politics.That where the problem is.

Talk and no action. Tax is the only way we can develop.
